The Last Exit for the Metallic Onslaught - March 5, 2004
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The recap for the shows this week, and possibly for all future weeks will
primarily be handled by our loyal listener and friend, Fire Eater Wizard.
She remembers things, and I do not, so...
To sum up last weeks shows: On The metallic Onslaught, Jeffie arrived acting
very strangely (I mean, strange even for him, which I know is saying a lot).
He kept saying 'Jeffie isn't here any more' speaking in a trance-like voice,
apparently through a "Pussy" or Cat puppet that he brought with him.
Apparently he was traumatized by his encounter with Just Joe earlier in the
day or week (what is it that Just Joe does to highly annoying beings like
Friend and Jeffie that seems to repel them so? If only we could find out so
we could duplicate it!). Maury got Jeffie back to normal by "Fluffing" him
in some way, and I don't even wanna know what that was about!  But anytime
Just Joe's name was mentioned, Jeff would go back into his puppet trance and
Maury would have to "fluff" him again. The show ended with a beat down brawl
with Joe, Jeffie, and Maury.
On The Last Exit: It became an Armageddon show. Shoebox came up after his CD
release show. He said it went well and there was a pretty good showing of
people and they seemed to enjoy him. He brought with him his friend Coffee
of the band Coffee Inc., along with his drummer, and Sudden Death of Sudden
Death, all of whom performed at his show. Rub, Gorgar, and Just Joe were
there as well. Just Joe kept tormenting Coffee, first by throwing spoons at
him, then they got into a brawl. Overall, many people there, much chaos and
craziness...Very befitting an Armageddon show!
And that is the recap, I wish I could remember all this stuff...  Anyways,
this week, um, yes, well I don't know what will happen.  Just Joe has told
me he will be going to The Metallic Onslaught to defend his good name.
Maybe they can find out what he did to poor Jeffie.  Shoebox will not be
there, primarily because he is in Chicago as of tonight to do a few shows.
Shows recap from Fire Eater Wizard...
Ok, both shows were kinda quiet last week, nothing wrong with that. Quiet is
good sometimes..They were very entertaining, just a bit calmer after the
last couple weeks of extreme chaos. On the Metallic Onslaught: Just Joe did
not show up and Jeffie took the credit for that. He was bragging about how
he tricked Just Joe and prevented him from coming to the show by removing
the gasoline from his car. However, Jeffie being Jeffie, he accomplished
this not by the normal way of siphoning off the gas, but by drinking it all.
Consequently, he was ill throughout the show, and was also leaking strange
fluids and shedding some parts. Jeffie and Maury read their newsletter
chronicaling the events of each day of their week. Their week had 8 days in
it which were out of sequence with 1 day (I think it was Tuesday) named
twice.
On The Last Exit: The main thing that happened seemed to be that a general
concensus was reached that Just Joe is really stupid (not to be confused
with the Metallic Onslaught Joe, who is just really old). Well, what other
concensus can you arrive at about someone for whom it took 3 weeks to
realize that the reason his car had stopped running was because it was out
of gas? Not to mention the fact that he appearently let Jeffie thwart him and keep him
from showing up on the Metallic Onslaught....
Last Week's shows recap from Fire Eater Wizard...
On The Metallic Onslaught last week... Just Joe finally made it to the show
and pretty much caused havoc. He had a cup with him which he named "Cuppy".
He made "Cuppy" at the end of the Last Exit the week before and was happy
with his creation. Somehow Cuppy got broken. That would be when Maury
crushed it.  Jeffie and Moury kept blaming each other for this...  Just Joe
was upset about the crushing of Cuppy and wanted revenge. I'm not sure
exactly what he did, but he traumatized both Jeffy and Maury. Jeffie went
back to talking in a trance like voice through his "pussy" cat puppet. Maury
wouldn't talk at all for quite a while, he just made weird noises that
sounded kinda like a cross between a Tele-Tubby and the Pilsbury Dough Boy
(at least that's how I would describe it ). I don't know why Just Joe has
these strange effects on so many. There was much beating and fighting as
usual.  Even Rick had trouble dealing with JJ.
